Pin Vent Trimming Blades
Trimming air vent plugs is one of the headaches of tire manufacturing and recapping. The job requires a tool hard enough to wear well; with a thin enough edge to cut and yet strong enough so that the teeth will not break.

These D.B. engineering trimmers (#2001 HS Excluded) are made of A-2 tool steel, which has the best combination of edge strength and wear resistance.

On automatic trimming machines, where the trimming is done with knives spaced across the tread and along the sidewall, it is not unusual to trim thousands of tires with one set of knives. We encourage you to try them at D.B. engineering risk! There are a wide variety of trimmers from which to choose to do the job for you.
